My photography is pure plagiarism. I photograph buildings other people have thought of and built. I used to photograph people, but that was also plagiarism. After all, I didn't design or build people either.
When I photographed people, I preferred to look at them directly, straight on eye to eye. When I photographed people this way, I believed I had a direct line to their very center. This visual connection told me a lot about a person's sense of confidence, inner strength, intelligence, beauty and joy. The trick with a building is to find it's eyes.
