These pictures represent a few of the thousands of experimental images I've created-and continue to create-along with my work in art & technology, commercial art, photography, and design. They span the last 40 years and include various film formats as well as digital originals.

As much of the formal training I received was in painting-years of professional photography experience notwithstanding-my awareness is more toward the painter than the photographer. Furthermore, I am rarely satisfied with what either film or digital media makes from what I see. So each photograph is a point of departure rather than a document and each finished print as much a painting as it is a photograph.

My pictures are proof of on-going process. So an image originally created decades ago may continue to develop or be influenced by more recent work. Time gets out of the way-leaving a dialog enabled by fascination & technology.

This is the paint that never dries.
