Pictures are stories. They can take us away from
where we are and drop us anywhere. With my pictures I try to give people
angles of buildings and sculptures they would otherwise never see. I use
homemade pinhole cameras because of the endless possibilities that designing
and building your own camera gives you. Taking pinhole pictures is like
capturing butterflies or lightning bugs. You go into the field and capture
light in a box, then you develop the paper and release the images, one
at a time. There is no part of pinhole photography that you cannot change
or experiment with. I will always be inspired by it's versatility and
richness.
